		Dr. Víctor Vázquez Expertise: Metal forming, product design, process design, die development, research and innovation in metal forming. Dr. Victor Hiram Vazquez Lasso is an engineering consultant in product design, metal forming and process simulation. He has 20 years of experience in product design and CAE techniques for both product and process design. In August1999 he founded the company Consultores en Conformado y Procesos de Manufactura S.A. de C.V (Consultores CPM) in Monterrey, Mexico. He has been an Affiliate Member of the Metalworking Consultant Group LLC since 2000. In Consultores CPM he has developed and supervised 60+ consulting, training, and research projects for Mexican, Latin American, and US Companies. Additionally he has published 40+ technical articles in scientific journals and trade journals. Prior to this venture he worked as Staff Engineer for the Precision Forging area of the Engineering Research Center for Net Shape Manufacturing (ERC/NSM) at The Ohio State University while pursuing his doctorate degree. In this position from 1994 to 1999, Victor supervised over 30 consulting and research projects for American companies in the area of metal forming. Victor Vazquez holds a BS in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from ITESM Campus in Queretaro, Mexico, and MS in Mechanical Engineering and PhD in Industrial Engineering degrees from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. El grado de doctor fue otorgado por la Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro (UAQ), México. Actualmente es profesor-investigador en la UPQ y es miembro del sistema nacional de investigadores (SNI), México. Sus intereses en la investigación incluyen a la morfología matemática y visión por computadora.

		Israel Santillán Israel Santillán realizó sus estudios de licenciatura en el Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey y la maestría en la Facultad de Ingeniería de la Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro, México. Actualmente realiza sus estudios de doctorado en esta misma institución. Es profesor-investigador de la UPQ y es miembro del sistema nacional de investigadores (SNI), México.
